Mid-Amateur Championship

Practice Rounds may be played on August 6, 2009. You must schedule practice round starting times by calling the Golf Shop at Oakbourne Country Club (337-235-2324) on or after July 23, 2009.

On Thursday night prior to the Championship, the LGA will honor Stuart P. Braud, its Distinguished Service Award recipient for 2009 at a dinner banquet at Oakbourne Country Club.  All participants in the Mid-Amateur are invited to attend.  Once their entry/qualification for the Championship is confirmed, attendees must return RSVP note confirming their attendance.  A cash bar will be available beginning at 6:30 PM with the dinner slated to begin at 7 PM.

Starting times will begin at 7:30 AM on both Friday and Saturday. Play will begin on both #1 and #10 tees at 7:30 AM and again at 12 Noon.

Starting times will begin at 7:30 AM off #1 tee only. Any playoff to determine the Champion will be held, at sudden death, immediately following play. Awards will be presented immediately following the completion of play.
