Carter Plantation is located in Springfield, just south of I-12 near Hammond.
From I-12, take the Albany/Springfield exit (Exit 32) onto Hwy. 43 South. Go 2.7 miles to the end of Hwy. 43, then take a left onto Hwy. 42. Follow Hwy. 42 into Springfield (1.1 miles). Go through stop light in Springfield, then 2 more blocks to Carter Cemetary Rd. (First Baptist Church on corner). Turn right onto Carter Cemetary Rd. and proceed 1.5 miles to entrance of Carter Plantation. | | View All |
